ABC Confirmed as Official Product Sponsor to Richard Noble's 'Bloodhound' World Land Speed Record Attempt.

ABC Stainless Ltd is proud to announce its involvement with the 'Bloodhound SSC' Project: Bloodhound SSC (Super Sonic Car) is a pencil-shaped car powered by a jet engine and a rocket that is designed to reach approximately 1,000 miles per hour (1,600 km/h). It is being developed and built with the intention of breaking the land speed record by the largest ever margin. The £10 million project has now entered its third year and the construction of the car has now begun. The record attempt could happen as early as 2012.

ABC will be providing stainless steel and aerospace alloy components for the futuristic project including a rocket fuel holding tank and associated vessels and pipework.

Hygienic Tanks and Vessels

Tanks and vessels can be custom made to customers' specification or we can design for your requirements. We have a wealth of experience in manufacturing to BSEN 288 and also offer stainless pressure and vacuum vessels to BS5500 or similar equivalent standards including all weld procedures and certification as required.

Water-jet Cutting

The latest custom made CNC machine operating at 60,000 psi with a huge 6m x 3m bed and rotary cutting up to 600 mm diameter. This machine will cut almost any material up to 100 mm in thickness.
